A beautiful film - A Beautiful Mind Reviews
This is truly a beautiful film. I remember going to the theater to see it before any Academy Award nominations were posted and I also did not know anything of the story. I was amazed. Russell Crowe gave the performance of his life in the role of the Princeton student, schizophrenic patient and Nobel Prize winner--all the same person. "The sublime" Jennifer Connelly was captivating and believable and deserved the Oscar win. This film shows the power of the human spirit, the triumph of love and the wonder of true passion.
Wonderful acting, beautiful filming, a great score by James Horner and powerful directing pull together to form the best picture of 2001 and an amazing story---a true cinematic masterpiece.
